At Direct Gap, we understand that when you buy a Peugeot, you’re buying almost 130 years of heritage and innovation, making it one of the oldest car brands still available in the country today.
While Direct Gap can’t quite date its history back to a time before typewriters and radio, we can offer protection for your sleek RCZ or lively 308 GTI - and you can make a saving of up to 75% on the price from a main dealer.
As the largest independent provider of gap insurance in the UK, we only ever deal with major insurers who are fully FSA registered and covered by the Financial Services compensation scheme. By cutting out the middlemen, we can offer competitive prices on a wide range of tailormade products suitable for all kinds of cover - and because we are specialist insurers, we know our stuff and can find exactly the right GAP insurance for you.
Here are the main types of cover we provide for you and your Peugeot:
Finance/ Lease/ Contract Hire Gap Insurance
This pays the difference between the vehicle valuation on your Peugeot at the point of loss and the cost of settling your Lease, Contract Hire or Hire Purchase agreement.
Return to Invoice Gap Insurance
This pays the difference between the vehicle valuation on your Peugeot at the point of total loss and the original purchase invoice price of the vehicle.
Vehicle Replacement Insurance
This pays the difference between the vehicle valuation on your Peugeot at the point of loss and the cost of replacing the vehicle with a new vehicle of the same specification (or of similar age if the vehicle was not new when purchased) if your vehicle is written off.
We can cover your vehicle if you arrange cover within 180 days of ownership of your Peugeot. All our policies come with terms of up to five years on new and used models, a £250 excess cover in the event of a total loss and no mileage restrictions. We’ll even give you a policy for free if you can find any significant difference between our policy and the manufacturers.
The following new and used Peugeots can be covered by us:
Peugeot 107, Peugeot 206, Peugeot 207, Peugeot 308, Peugeot 508, Peugeot 308, Peugeot 508, Peugeot 4007, Peugeot 207 cc, Peugeot 308 cc, Peugeot RCZ, Peugeot Partner, Peugeot Expert, Peugeot Boxer
